Darrell Eugene Armstrong (born June 22, 1968) is an American former basketball player and current coach. He played 14 seasons in the NBA for teams such as the Orlando Magic and Dallas Mavericks, where he was recognized as the Most Improved Player and Sixth Man of the Year in 1999. He retired in 2008 and has served as an assistant coach for the Mavericks since 2009.

Armstrong was the first player in NBA history to simultaneously win the Most Improved Player and Sixth Man of the Year awards in 1999. Throughout his career, he helped the Mavericks secure the NBA championship in 2011 and was named to the USBL All-Defensive team three times.
