The Wow! signal lasted 72 seconds and was never detected again, leading scientists to endlessly speculate about its origin. Some hypotheses include an intentional transmission from extraterrestrial intelligence, but decades later, the mystery persists.
FRB: Fast Radio Bursts
In 2007, a completely new and puzzling phenomenon appeared in the world of radio astronomy: fast radio bursts (FRB). These bursts of energy arrive from outside our galaxy and last only milliseconds.
